Dr. Soboti is a New Jersey based psychotherapist who graduated from Fordham University with both her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Social Work, and her Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work. Additionally, she earned her Doctorate of Social Work from Rutgers University. Dr. Soboti has focused her years of professional experience on the mental health treatment of teens, emerging adults, adults and families. She is an ally to the LGBTQIA+ community and seeks to provide affirming therapeutic care.

Throughout her professional experience, Dr. Soboti has developed essential clinical skills to offer the most effective and caring therapeutic experience in a safe and affirming environment. Her approach is holistic and she addresses the many layers that make each individual unique. She is a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional and describes herself as a brain based therapist.

She has post-graduate training in the field of neuroscience and how it impacts our emotional wellbeing. As a trained EMDR, brain spotting and sand play clinician, Dr. Soboti integrates these powerful forms of psychotherapy to unlock trapped past events that leave us feeling stuck.

Ongoing trainings in the fields of psychology and health allow Dr. Soboti’s practice to remain current on ethical and evidence-based therapy approaches, thus enabling her to provide her clients with the most effective, affirming, and cutting edge treatment modalities.
